Do baby teeth have nerves similar to permanent teeth? If a cavity in baby teeth is drilled, is the sensation the same as in adult teeth?

Yes, baby teeth, or primary teeth, have nerves near the core of the tooth which can be sensitive to pain during drilling or deep cavities.

Comment of hup:
How about a baby canine tooth at 33 years old? Do I still have nerves in ... show morethat baby tooth? For some reason my teeth are comfortable and aligned decent, even with this tooth still in the place of my adult canine. My adult canine is the next tooth over.

My real question is, should I be concerned even if there are no signs of decay in the tooth?
