I have a 4 year old daughter that needed 4 root canals on her baby teeth, does that have any effect on her adult teeth when they come?
It shouldn't.
The purpose of a root canal is to save the tooth when decay has gotten too near the pulp. It is important that the baby teeth be in place to hold the position for the primary teeth. If the primary teeth were to be extracted, often a spacer is put in place to maintain this space.
It is important to establish good dental hygiene and eating habits to care for the child's teeth and their adult teeth to come.
