Recently I purchased a new laptop. I had an old HP 5550 Deskjet printer that I installed on this laptop. Everything worked fine until I tried using tools to clean the print head. The printer assistant is on the Desktop but there are no choices shown on the screen. What do I do now?

You should attempt to reinstall the printer from scratch to ensure everything is loaded and recognized correctly. This will also step you through proper connectivity so that nothing is overlooked.

Turn off and disconnect your printer from the computer.
Uninstall the printer software from "Add or Remove Programs" in the Control Panel.
Download and install the proper drivers from HP.com here.
