On the penny, why does Lincoln look to the right, while other presidents look to the left?
Lincoln faces to the right because the penny was an adaptation of a plaque in which he was facing right.

i heard a myth that it was because he abolished slavery and that it was a sign of betrayal to the country....making him look the opposite way from all the other coins..
